About Us

Ours is a child centered, experiential approach which respects the importance of children's play and the uniqueness of each child.  We strive to create an environment rich in stimulation, yet gentle and accepting of each child as he or she develops at his or her own pace.

We believe that children learn through play and exploration. The philosophy of The Early Childhood Center at The JCCDC is based on the premise that children thrive when they are treated with respect and given opportunities to grow emotionally, intellectually, and socially through meaningful, age appropriate experiences.

Creativity, individualism, intellectul stimulation, the development of appropriate readiness skills, group activities, and interpersonal relations are the elements of our program.

We encourage children to know and respect their own heritage and respect the cultures and traditions of others.  We are a Jewish school, however, children of all religious, ethnic, and racial backgrounds, are welcome.
